The iBase AGS series encompasses an intelligent IoT gateway system that has been designed for industrial control and factory automation applications. You’ll be able to harness the power of these user-friendly embedded computers to connect devices, transfer data to clouds or to establish Machine-to-Machine (M2M) gateways that offer enhanced control and automation in the industrial environment.
These ultra-effective embedded computers come with a choice of processor:
- Intel Atom processor E3950/E3930 with extended operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C
- Intel Pentium N4200
- Celeron N3350, which works between -20°C and 70°C
Both models support 4GB DDR3L-1866 DO-DIMM, a 64GB MLC industrial-grade mSATA SSD, dual display ports and four USB 3.0 sockets. They also feature two GbEs, two COMs, a DC-in terminal block and over, under or reverse voltage protections.
Of particular importance for industrial environments is the fact that they have been built out of aluminium and steel, which not only enhances heat dissipation but also ensures they’re tough enough for the job. The system supports shock and vibration toleration standards IEC 60068-2-64 / MIL-STD-810G, giving it the durability users have come to expect.
The system can easily be expanded with:
- A full-size Mini PCI-E socket
- A 2230 M.2 E-Key socket for WLAN and BT
- A 3042 M.2 B-Key socket for WWAN and SSD
- An mSATA socket (Mini PCI-E)
- A 2242 M.2 B-Key socket for mSATA SSD
Both models measure 160mm x 110mm x 44mm and come with both DIN-rail and wall mounting kits.
The AGS102 benefits from having in addition two RS232 ports for COM3/COM4 and a GPIO 4-in & 4-out multi-purpose interface for a variety of one- or two-wired devices for I/O, security and data storage purposes.
